(NORWALK) - The Simmons for Senate campaign today announced the endorsement of Connecticut House Republican Leader Rep. Larry Cafero (R-Norwalk).
 
"Rob Simmons is the embodiment of a true public servant. I served along side him in the state House of Representatives where he was known on both sides of the aisle to be a dedicated and thoughtful lawmaker who eschewed petty partisan politics," said Cafero.
 
"Rob Simmons dedicated nearly four decades of his life in the service of his country in the Army, Army Reserves and military intelligence.  He has the global perspective that we need in the Senate, someone who has vast experience in combating threats to his nation's people.  He knows the issues, he knows the players, there will be no learning curve needed when Rob Simmons is elected to the U.S. Senate.
