State Representative Sean Williams Endorses Simmons

September 1st

(MYSTIC) -  The Simmons for Senate campaign today announced that state Rep. Sean Williams is endorsing Rob Simmons for U.S. Senate.

"Rob is the right man at the right time for Connecticut and for the nation," said Williams.  "Rob's strong commitment to fiscal conservatism will help restore sanity to Washington, D.C., and his lifetime of honorable service is a model for how public officials should represent their people."

"I am deeply grateful for Rep. Williams' support," said Simmons.  "Sean is a rising star in the Republican Party, and an inspiring example of how young people around our state can make a big difference in public policy.  He has a bright future and makes an outstanding addition to my growing team."

Rep. Williams, 27, is serving his fourth term in the Connecticut House representing the towns of Watertown, Woodbury and his hometown of Oakville.  He is ranking member on the House Energy & Technology Committee.

Williams joins House GOP Leader Larry Cafero, Deputy House GOP Leader Bill Hamzy, Sen. Tony Guglielmo, 20 members of the Republican State Central Committee and former U.S. Senator and GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson (R-TN) among Rob Simmons' growing list of public endorsements.
